HR Compliance for a Dutch Entity
description
Core deliverable Written compliance baseline
schedule
Findings in 2 to 3 weeks
One named consultant per client

Your Dutch entity is running on documents nobody has ever checked.

The contracts came from the group template, the handbook came from head office, and the sector position was never formally determined. That holds until an inspection, a pension fund letter, a wage claim or a dismissal puts the paperwork in front of someone who reads it properly.

This is a one-off, fixed-fee check and clean-up. A senior consultant scans the entity, gives you a written baseline of where you stand, and rewrites the documents that need it, so you can evidence your position rather than hope it holds.

Why clients choose it

Certainty instead of assumption

What a documented baseline is worth when someone finally asks.

verified

You can evidence your position

A written baseline turns assumptions into something your board, your auditor and your parent company can rely on.

euro

Fixed price, defined end

Scope, cost and deliverables are agreed before we start. This is a project with a finish line, not an open retainer.

shield

Problems found before they are tested

Exposure is far cheaper to correct while nobody is claiming. Discovering it mid-dispute or mid-audit is not.

Ready for the next fifty hires

The threshold roadmap tells you what changes at which headcount, so growth stops quietly creating new obligations.

In practice

Three entities we cleaned up

Anonymised projects across growth, template contracts and sector questions.

French group, 55 staff 01
The situation

The Dutch entity crossed fifty employees during a hiring push and nobody flagged what changed at that point. The parent had assumed local staff would raise anything important.

What we delivered

The scan produced a threshold roadmap with named owners and dates. Representation and whistleblowing obligations were addressed in the same quarter rather than after a request landed.

US SaaS, 20 staff 02
The situation

All twenty employees sat on a translated parent contract, including a probation clause and a non-compete lifted straight from the US template.

What we delivered

The clause check identified which provisions gave no protection at all. A new Dutch contract set was drafted and signed across the team within six weeks.

Logistics firm, 40 staff 03
The situation

A pension provider query prompted the parent to ask whether a sector agreement applied to the Dutch entity. No determination had ever been made or written down.

What we delivered

A written CAO and pension determination was delivered in under three weeks, with the pay scale comparison the finance team needed to budget the answer.

Client situations are anonymised. Names and identifying details have been changed.

Questions buyers ask us first

Cost, duration, scope and where it stops.

How is a compliance engagement priced?

A fixed fee against an agreed scope, quoted before we start. You know the cost of the scan, the determinations and the document set up front, with no hourly meter running.

How long does it take?

For an entity of up to roughly fifty people, the scan and written findings typically take two to three weeks. Remediated contracts and policies follow over the next three to four weeks.

Is this a one-off project or an ongoing service?

One-off by design. It delivers a baseline and a corrected document set with a defined end. Many clients then keep a consultant on call through our advisory service, but that is a separate decision.

How does this differ from your labour law advice?

Compliance builds the baseline your entity should be able to evidence at any time. Labour law advice applies to a live decision already in front of you, such as a dismissal or a long-term absence case.
